Art Omi Music Residency Program 2019 for International Musicians (Fully-funded).
Art Omi Residency Programs 2019 for International Musicians and Dancers are now open. The Art Omi: Music invites approximately a dozen musicians and composers from around the globe to come together for two and a half weeks each summer for a uniquely collaborative music making residency.
Taking place August 8 – 25, 2019, Art Omi: Music encourages its participants to share ideas, perform each other’s works, and write music for one another, while exploring their own musical vision and broadening their artistic and cultural horizons. Informal concerts invite the public to experience the creative process, collaboration and development of the residents.
About
Art Omi is a not-for-profit arts organization with residency programs for international artists, writers, translators, musicians, architects and dancers. Art Omi believes that exposure to internationally diverse creative voices fosters tolerance and respect, raises awareness, inspires innovation, and ignites change.
