- Academic Excellence: Applicants should have attained a minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or an equivalent qualification).
- Year 12 Completion: You must have completed Year 12 either in 2023 or 2022 (if you’re currently in a gap year).
- Citizenship/Residency Status: You should either be an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder, an Australian Permanent Resident, a New Zealand Citizen, or an international student who has completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia.
- Tertiary Studies: You should not have completed any previous tertiary studies, except as part of Year 11-12 studies (e.g., Enhanced Studies Program).
- Tertiary Place Application: You must have applied for a tertiary place through QTAC and listed UQ as your first preference in QTAC as of December 18, 2023.
