The International Fellowships Programme supports outstanding early-career researchers in establishing an independent research career by gaining experience across international borders. The successful candidate will focus on high-quality, original research with a specific and protected research agenda.
Eligibility Requirements For International Fellowships 2024, UK institutions
- Hold a PhD or be in the final stages of a PhD (to be completed before the Fellowship start date).
- Have no more than seven years of active full-time postdoctoral experience at the time of application.
- Work outside the UK and not hold UK citizenship.
- Be competent in oral and written English.
- Have a clearly defined and mutually-beneficial research proposal agreed with a UK host researcher.
Duration and Rewards For International Fellowships 2024, UK institutions
- Two years of support.
- Awarded at 80% Full Economic Cost (FEC).
- Research expenses of up to £12,000 and relocation costs of up to £8,000 may be applied for.
