Africa International University is blessed to have a Christian foundation as its unique heritage. Over the years of its growth and eventual transition from a graduate school of theology to a university, AIU has maintained this distinctiveness and has ensured it will live on.
Motivated by our vision, mission, and core values, and by the conviction that learning is both rooted in and responsive to the culture and context, we seek to participate in God’s mission in the world by bringing a Christ-centered worldview to bear on knowledge, research and its relevance to both the mission of God and the needs of Africa.
The University has staff and students from over 32 countries from the five continents. This year the university graduated students from Liberia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, the U.S.A, Madagascar, Ghana, Nigeria, Congo DRC, Malawi, Seychelles, Gambia, Ethiopia, Eretria South Sudan.
The university hopes to train more Christ-centered leaders for the church in Africa and beyond to actively and positively participate in impacting the world. We have designed our programs in the various areas of professional specialization for our graduates to transfer the learning to their careers.
The university has modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and resourceful. We have a well-stocked library, with books and modern learning materials. The university has a modern ICT Lab and 24-hour WIFI access. For those willing to be residents at the university we have modern serviced apartments to make your stay comfortable.
The mode of study is evening, weekend, full-time, school-based and open, distance & e-learning. The admission is in January, May, and September, and School Holidays for school-based (April, August, and December).
