About Scholarship:

This scholarship is funded by the UMF -Lawrence Alan Spiegel Remembrance Scholarship and The Holocaust Human Rights Center of Maine for UMF students.

Scholarship Amount:

$1,000

Criteria for Eligibility:

  • Any high school senior, or homeschooled senior, who is a resident of Maine and who has been accepted at any accredited college, university, or technical school that is Title IV eligible.

  • Enrolled in College
  • High School

Courses:

  • Nonspecific to course of study

How it is Awarded

Students must write an essay, which is read by a panel of judges. The scholarship is not renewable.
