Undergraduate Application Overview
Every year in January the University invites applications for the degree programmes on offer from prospective students. The advertisement is flighted in the national press and on the University website.
University of Zimbabwe programmes have varied selection criteria depending on the nature of the programme. To apply an applicant must meet the minimum entry requirements, however acceptance depends on competition from the other applicants.

Application process
Application forms can be downloaded from our website and prospective students must pay an application fee of $20 before the application can be considered. International applicants are required to pay an application fee of $70.
Successful candidates receive offer letters with information on registration and tuition fees.
Applicants with disabilities are given special consideration in the selection process.
General entry requirements
For admission into programmes of study at the University of Zimbabwe for any first degree, an applicant must have the 5 ‘O’ subjects, including English Language at ‘O’ level and at least 2 ‘A’ Level passes or equivalent.
