University of Technology UTech Faculty of Science and Sport Admission Requirements for the 2023/2024 academic year has been released.
Interested students may apply to any of the University of Technology (U-Tech) Faculty of Science and Sport at any time and get admitted subject to fulfilling the U-Tech admission entry requirements for the 2023/2024 academic year.
UTech Faculty of Science and Sport Admission Requirement
Caribbean School of Sport Sciences
- Five (5) CXC (or equivalent) subjects at CSEC to include any two (2) science subjects, Mathematics, English Language and any other subject.
- CAPE Physical Education (PE) Unit 1 and/or 2 may be used as a substitute for a CSEC science subject. (Such that if an applicant has both Units they may be used to substitute for 2 Science subjects).
School of Mathematics and Statistics
- 7 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes with distinction in Mathematics and at least two (2) other Science Subjects and credit in at least two (2) other Subjects
- 5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes including English Language and Mathematics (Grade 1 or 2).
- An interview may be required
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics & Education (UBSMAEDFXU1A)
- 5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes including English Language and Mathematics (Grade 1 or 2).
- An interview may be required
School of Natural and Applied Sciences
- 5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and at least 2 science subjects and 1 other subject. Chemistry and Biology would be an asset.
- An interview may be required
- 5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and at least 2 Science subjects and 1 other subject. Chemistry and Biology would be an asset.
- An interview may be required.
- 5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes: English Language, Mathematics, 2 Science subjects and 1 other subject. An interview may be required.
