The University of Glasgow, Small Animal Hospital is seeking to recruit a Veterinary Clinician to join our Out of Hours Emergency Service. Our team provides emergency cover for many local practices, and this role is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a wide range of both medical and surgical emergency and critical care cases. We benefit from close relationships with the specialist referral team within the hospital and the newly launched Primary Care Practice.

This role provides the opportunity to investigate and treat cases to a high standard, plus contribute to the clinical training of undergraduate students and interns. Shifts are 7pm-8 am nights, and weekend/public holiday dayshifts (7:30am-8:30pm). This part-time position typically involves one shift every two weeks. While the shift times are set, the days worked can be adjusted to accommodate the preferred candidate.
