This is the official list of Postgraduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences Courses Offered at the University of Zambia (UNZA) and admission entry requirements.

The minimum entry requirements to postgraduate programmes are as follows:

  • Postgraduate Diploma Programmes: An applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Zambia or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  • Masters Programmes: An applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree with credit or better from the University of Zambia or equivalent qualification from a recognized University for taught masters and a merit or better for masters by research only.
  • Doctor of Philosophy Programmes: An applicant must possess a Masters degree in the relevant field from the University of Zambia or its equivalent from a recognized University. Relevant work experience is added advantage.
