For your convenience, we provide a variety of different payment methods. In the case of electronic transfers, please ensure that the reference field is completed correctly.

Academy of Sound Engineering Fees Payment Method

The Academy of Sound Engineering Fee Structure 2025 includes all the amounts payable so you can study and graduate on time. Undergraduate students need to note that tuition fees differ among faculties.

International students should note that the registration and tuition fees that apply to them differ slightly from those of local students.

For Postgraduate, Short Course, and Master’s students: As a returning student, your fees may be quite different from those of an undergraduate student.

Please note that Academy of Sound Engineering will never ask you for any personal information such as passwords, usernames, credit card details, or PIN codes. Use your ID number as a reference. Please make sure that you have read and understood the registration and application terms and conditions.

Fees may be paid using the following methods:

  • Debit cards
  • Credit cards
  • Bank deposit
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Debit Cards

Debit card payments are only accepted if you register in person at Academy of Sound Engineering

Credit Cards

Credit cards are restricted to ‘Visa’ and ‘MasterCard’. All the requirements under ‘Particulars of Payment’ on the registration form, must be supplied. The cardholder’s signature is also required on the registration form.

Bank deposits (SA Banks only) / EFT payments:

If any of the information on the bank deposit slip is incomplete or incorrect, the transaction will not be processed by the bank and/or cause a delay in the allocation of the funds to your account. Provided that all the information on the deposit slip is correct, amounts will be allocated within 2 working days to the study fee account.
