About the BASF South Africa Trust Bursary 2027

The BASF South Africa Trust Bursary aims to provide financial support to academically strong Black female students who need help funding their tertiary education. Who Can Apply for the BASF Bursary?

• Demonstrate financial need, with a combined household income not exceeding R630,000 per annum.
• Have a strong academic record.
• Have no criminal record.
• Not be receiving another bursary or scholarship for the 2027 academic year.

Who Will Not Qualify?

The bursary does not fund Master’s or PhD students. It also excludes studies in Medical Sciences and Economic Sciences. Applicants with a household income above R630,000 per year or those already receiving another bursary for 2027 will not qualify. All citizenship, gender, BBBEE, academic, and other eligibility criteria must also be met.

• Certified copy of full academic record, including the latest available results.
• Proof of university acceptance.
