About the J0b
The Financial Inciusion through Traditional Leadership (FIT) programme is a collaboration between Zambian Financial Sector Deepening (FSDZ) and the Luapula Chiefs to implement financial inclusion activities in Luapula province. The FIT Field Officer will be responsible primarily for the coordination and facilitation of FIT interventions in Luapula Province in close collaboration with the Informal Finance Manager and the Luapula Provincial Chiefs plus any other partners designated during the project.
This position will be based in Mansa and will report to FSDZ’s Informal Finance Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- He/she must be a holder of a diploma in social work or a related course with at least five years’ experience in community and/or field work.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or other relevant field from a reputable University with a minimum of 3 years communityfacilitation will be an added advantage.
- Work with traditional leaders and/or in Luapula province is highly desirable.
- He/she must have demonstrated good writing skills including analytical and computer skills (Excel and Power Point).
- He/she must have excellent facil itation skills, strongcommunication and engagement skills
- He/she should be detail-oriented, a self-motivated, team player, result-oriented and have experience coordinating capacity building activities for traditional leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people of varied backgrounds
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple and time-sensitive deadlines
- The candidate should be ableto ride a motorbike with a have a valid motorbike license
