Fellows spend the first ten months at IASH in Edinburgh. They then use up to two months in their home countries for knowledge exchange and sharing results with the British Council.

The program targets researchers whose work connects to British Council priorities. These include arts, education, English language, international relations, soft power, development, peace building, and cultural diplomacy. Applications close on July 31, 2026.
