SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

The school of Medicine offer Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Direct Entry (Form Six)

1. Three Principal passes in PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY, at ADVANCED (“A”) level with minimum entry point of 8 points. Whereby one must have at least C grade in CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY and at least D grade in Physics.

Equivalent qualifications:

1. Holders of Bachelor of Science (BSc) lower second, from recognized institutions, majoring in Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Zoology.
2. Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) with at least Five (5) passes including two credit passes in Chemistry and Biology and a D grade in Physics PLUS Diploma in Clinical Medicine with an average of “B+” or GPA of 3.5.

SCHOOL OF PHARMACY

The School of Pharmacy offers courses leading to the offer of the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (B. Pharm).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Direct Entry (Form Six)

1. Three Principal passes in PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY, at ADVANCED (“A”) level with minimum entry point of 8 points. Whereby one must have at least C grade in CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY and at least D grade in Physics

2. (ii) Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) with at least Five (5) passes including two credit passes in Chemistry and Biology and a D grade in Physics PLUS Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences with an average of “B+” or GPA of 3.5.

ARCHBISHOP ANTHONY MAYALA SCHOOL OF NURSING

1. 1. The Archbishop Mayala School of Nursing offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education (Bsc.NED) under the following categories:

1. 1. • A 2 – year programme for those with Advanced Diploma in Nursing Education
      • A 3 – year programme for those with Diploma in Nursing
      • A 4 – year programme for those who are direct Form six leavers

      1. Entry Requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education (4 yrs course)

      Three principal passes in Chemistry, Biology and either Physics or Mathematics or Nutrition with minimum of 6 points. Whereby one must have at least C grade in Chemistry and at least D grade in Biology and E grade in Physics or Mathematics or Nutrition

      2. Entry Requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education (3 yrs course)

Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) with at least Five (5) passes including two credit passes in Chemistry and Biology and a D grade in Physics PLUS Diploma in Nursing with an average of “B+” or GPA of 3.5

Equivalent Qualifications

STUDENTS ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For those who qualify and are selected
1. 1. Payment of a Non-Refundable registration fee to be determined by the University from time to time.
   2. Proof of ability to pay the Annual Fees set by the University. This may be through certified sponsorship or other written proof.
   3. Compliance with any other conditions that the University may deem appropriate.
