About the Elangeni TVET College Graduate Internships

Elangeni TVET College, in partnership with ETDP SETA, is providing five Graduate Internship opportunities for 2026. This programme is designed to help unemployed graduates gain practical experience in their fields of study. The internships will last for 24 months and include on-the-job training to develop technical, professional, and public-service skills. The goal is to improve graduates’ chances of finding employment in the formal job market.

Available Graduate Internship Opportunities

There are five internship opportunities available across different fields. Applicants must quote the correct reference number when applying for their chosen field.

  • Finance, Supply Chain Management or Public Management (Reference: HRM 08/2026)
  • Information Technology (Reference: HRM 09/2026)
  • Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or Graphic Design (Reference: HRM 10/2026)
  • Human Resource Management (Reference: HRM 11/2026)

Programme Duration and Location

The Graduate Internship Programme will run for a duration of 24 months. All internships are based at the Elangeni TVET College Central Office, located in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for these internships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be South African citizens.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Have completed Matric.
  • Have completed a relevant Diploma at NQF Level 6.
  • Be unemployed graduates.
  • Meet the specific qualification requirements for the chosen internship field.
  • Be interested in skills development within the education and training sector.
  • Be available to start on 01 August 2026.
  • Submit a complete and signed application before the closing date and time.
  • No previous work experience is required.

A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage and should be included in the CV.

Required Documents

  • A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Applicants should not attach certified copies of qualifications or ID documents at this stage, unless specifically instructed otherwise.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of their South African ID, Matric certificate, highest relevant qualification, and driver’s licence (if applicable) to Human Resources before their interview.
