About the Research Project

Food systems show clear gender gaps. These affect work conditions, resource access, choices, money chances, and violence risks. Yet, gender-based violence in these systems lacks deep study.

This project looks at violence in farm work, food chains, hunger areas, and rural spots. It uses feminist views, intersectional analysis, decolonial ideas, creative methods, and audio-visual tools. The goal is new proof and outputs for policies, programs, advocacy, awareness, and learning.

Role Overview

The University seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow skilled in gender studies, food systems, participatory methods, creative research, social justice, or development studies. The person will handle key tasks.

Main Responsibilities

1. Co-Producing Research Outputs
   The fellow will create audio-visual items, reports, papers, and creative shares. These will share findings in fresh ways.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration
   Work with communities, global partners, nonprofits, and teams to design materials and results. This builds strong ties.

3. International Research Collaboration
   Partner with teams in Colombia and Nigeria. Gain experience across borders.
