Available Graduate Opportunities

ICASA is offering opportunities in several key areas. Each programme requires a specific degree and is based in different locations.

• Regions and Consumer Affairs – Free State: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Information Engineering.
• Regions and Consumer Affairs – Limpopo: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Information Engineering.
• CEO’s Office – Monitoring and Evaluation: Requires a degree in Strategic Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or Project Management.
• Risk and Compliance: Requires a degree in Risk Management or a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

Programme Duration and Location

The Graduate Development Programme runs for a period of 24 months. The programme is expected to commence in 2026.

Successful candidates appointed to the Free State and Limpopo programmes will spend the first month in Gauteng for initial training. They will then relocate to their respective provinces for the remaining 23 months. ICASA will not cover accommodation costs for these relocations.

Opportunities in the CEO’s Office (Monitoring and Evaluation) and Risk and Compliance are based in Centurion, Gauteng.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution of higher learning.
• Have completed the qualification.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possess a valid driver’s licence.
• For the Regions and Consumer Affairs programmes, a degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Information Engineering is required.
• For the CEO’s Office programme, a degree in Strategic Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or Project Management is required.
• For the Risk and Compliance programme, a degree in Risk Management or an LLB is required.
