These fields address critical skills shortages, leading to strong job prospects.

Programme Purpose

The main goal is to qualify learners as artisans through full training. It provides practical experience in engineering tasks at the mine. Participants prepare for trade tests and build skills needed in mining. By the end, you will be ready for roles that keep operations running smoothly.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, meet these academic and extra standards.

Academic Requirements

  • Grade 12 or Matric at NQF Level 4.
  • Plus N2 qualification with at least four relevant subjects, or NCV Level 4 in engineering.

Additional Requirements

Be ready for knowledge tests, psychometric assessments, and interviews. You need a medical fitness certificate, called a Red Ticket, and must pass Heat Tolerance Screening for mine conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Learners support daily work under skilled artisans. Tasks include helping with maintenance, repairing parts, and replacing components. You will follow equipment standards, complete training modules, and obey safety rules. Basic fault finding and efficiency support are also part of the job.

Who Should Apply

This fits people who finished Matric with technical subjects and hold N2 or NCV Level 4 in engineering. If you aim to be a qualified artisan in mining, are physically fit, and like technical work, apply now.

Required Documents

Prepare these for your application:

  • Updated CV.
  • Certified copy of your ID.
