Momentum Health Contact Centre Learnerships 2026 offer a great chance for young South Africans to gain skills in the healthcare and insurance field. Learnership Overview

Momentum Health runs this program to train unemployed youth as Health Care Benefits Advisors. You will earn an Occupational Certificate at NQF Level 5, with SAQA ID 105030. The training focuses on the healthcare and insurance industry, helping you build practical skills for customer service roles.

Programme Duration

The learnership starts on 01 June 2026 and ends on 31 May 2027. This gives you a full year of structured training and hands-on work. Plan your schedule around these dates if you apply.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you need a Grade 12 certificate. Your Mathematics score must be at least 40%, or Mathematical Literacy at 60%. You also need 50% in English and another South African language.

Other rules include:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be 18 to 30 years old.
  • Be unemployed and not studying during the program.
  • Not have done this learnership before.
  • Live within 30km of Parc Du Cap Office in Bellville.
  • Commute on your own.

Computer skills are a plus but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Learning and Development

You will attend training sessions in class and at work. Complete assessments and build a portfolio of your work. Keep logbooks to track your experience and learn company systems, products, and rules.

Client Service

Help clients with their questions and give correct information. Keep service levels high and build good relationships. Work to speed up responses and improve how services are delivered.

Teamwork and Growth

Work with your team on daily tasks and projects. Join workplace activities and suggest ways to improve things. Take charge of your own learning and growth.

Financial Awareness

Support ways to save costs and spot risks. Report problems quickly and help make operations run smoothly.

Skills and Competencies

Strong communication helps you connect with clients. Pay close attention to details to avoid mistakes. Solve problems fast, especially under pressure. Stay focused on customers and work well in a team.

Required Documents

  • Certified Matric certificate.
  • Doctor’s letter if you have a disability.
