Programme Details

Available Streams

The program splits into three streams, each matching different fields of study.

Buying Stream – Apparel

This stream covers fashion retail and product buying. It suits students in fashion design, clothing management, consumer science (clothing retail), textile design, or fashion production/buying. Participants learn trend forecasting, product selection and pricing, supplier coordination, and retail performance analysis.

Buying Stream – Homeware

Here, the focus is on home décor and lifestyle products. It fits interior design, consumer science, or textile management students. You will handle product sourcing, seasonal range planning, trend analysis, and merchandise performance tracking.

Planning Stream

This option centers on data-driven retail planning. It targets accounting, economics, finance, mathematics/statistics, supply chain management, or retail management students. Key skills include sales forecasting, inventory allocation, store performance analysis, and demand planning.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must be in their final year of study or finishing postgraduate qualifications. They need strong grades, interest in retail careers, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.

Key Skills and Competencies

Top candidates show analytical and problem-solving skills. For buying streams, creativity matters. All need strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and passion for retail and merchandising.
