www.out.ac.tz tuition fees: Below Is the Official Muhimbili University Fees schedule to be paid by each undergraduate student respectively for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at the Muhimbili University. The University reserves the right to change fees without prior notice to the student. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council.

Selected candidates will be required to pay tuition and other University fees by the beginning of the first semester before they can be permitted to use the University facilities. The tuition fees for the various programmes for Tanzanian students are indicated in the table below. Foreign students’ fees are under review and are subject to change at any time but they are currently at a further surcharge of 50% of the tuition fees for Tanzanian students.

Note:
Students are required to have sufficient funds to cater for Special Programme Requirements. Such requirements may be in the form of boots, overalls, scientific calculators, drawing board, gloves, masks etc. as well as funds for practical training depending on the programme. Applicants are urged to consult the University prospectus for specific requirements by their Schools or consult the Schools that they intend to apply for more details, including indicative cost implication.
