Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following minimum qualification:

• A BSc Honours degree focusing on Radiochemistry or Nuclear Physics.

Knowledge and Technical Requirements

Applicants should possess the following knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of operating radiation detection instruments.
• Basic understanding of radioactive decay processes, radiation interactions with matter, and radiation protection.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Mathematical and statistical knowledge.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.

The following will be advantageous:

• Knowledge of gamma-ray spectrometry, liquid scintillation analysis, or alpha-spectrometry.
