Old Mutual has four trainee roles open in internal auditing. Each needs specific degrees, but all lead to strong career paths.
Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – Technology & Cyber Risk
You need a degree in Commerce, Engineering, Science like Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Analytics. This role focuses on tech and cyber threats in finance.
Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – General Internal Audit
A degree in Internal Auditing is required. Trainees here check company processes across the board.
Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – OM Insure
Qualify with a degree in Law, Insurance, Risk Management, or related areas. This position audits insurance operations.
Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – PF Life & Customer
Hold a degree in Finance like BCom or BBusSci, Auditing (internal or external), or similar fields. The work covers life insurance and customer services.
Minimum Requirements
To apply, you must be a South African citizen. You need to finish or be finishing an Honours degree (or equivalent) by the end of 2027. Also, aim for at least a 65% average in your last two years of study.
