About the Learnership Programme
Pepkor Lifestyle runs popular retail stores like HiFi Corporation, Incredible Connection, Bradlows, Russells, Rochester, and Sleepmasters. The company offers this learnership to help young people gain practical retail and workplace skills. Fully funded by the Wholesale & Retail SETA, it gives you a foot in the door of the retail industry.
What You Will Learn
Learners get training in key areas that matter in retail jobs. You will practice customer service right on the shop floor. The program covers marketing and merchandising, basic English and math, using point-of-sale systems, stock control, loss prevention, opening customer accounts, and understanding how retail works.
Minimum Requirements
To apply, you need to meet these basics. Hold a Matric or Senior Certificate. Be a South African citizen with no criminal record. Show a willingness to learn and work in retail. People with disabilities are welcome to join.
Required Documents
Get your papers ready before applying. Submit an updated CV, a certified copy of your ID, certified copies of your qualifications, academic transcripts if you have them, and a doctor’s certificate if you have a disability. Make sure all certified documents are no older than three months.
