Key tasks include:

  • Reconciling debts and tracking them.
  • Monitoring payments and calculating interest.
  • Contacting debtors for updates.
  • Preparing reports and documents.
  • Assisting in recovery processes.

These roles are at the Regional Office and district offices in Mangaung Metro, Thabo Mofutsanyana, Lejweleputswa, Fezile Dabi, and Xhariep.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must meet these basics:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Hold an NQF Level 6 qualification (360 credits) in fields like Business Management, Public Administration, Financial Management, Accounting, IT/Computer Science, Marketing, or Social Sciences.
  • Have basic computer skills.
  • Pass background checks and competency tests.

Salary and Benefits

Interns earn between R228,321 and R268,950 per year. This comes with an extra 37% in place of benefits. It is a solid starting package for government work.
