The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is offering a valuable Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for TVET college learners in 2026. Available WIL Opportunities and Qualifications

SASSA has opened applications for five WIL positions across three key areas. Each position requires an N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in specific fields.

Fraud and Risk Management (2 Posts)

  • Reference Number: SAS NC26/05/04
  • Required Qualification: N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Policing.

These roles will provide learners with insight into the critical functions of identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within a government agency, as well as understanding fraud prevention measures.

Communications and Marketing (2 Posts)

  • Reference Number: SAS NC26/05/05
  • Required Qualification: N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in Public Relations or Media Studies.

Learners in these positions will gain experience in public communication strategies, media engagement, and marketing initiatives relevant to government services and public awareness campaigns.

Customer Care (1 Post)

  • Reference Number: SAS NC26/05/06
  • Required Qualification: N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in Public Management or Public Administration.

This opportunity focuses on the essential aspects of public service delivery, including managing public inquiries, providing information, and ensuring efficient customer service operations within SASSA.
