Trent University in Canada is accepting applications for its 2025/2026 Scholarship Opportunities for International Students. The University provides overseas undergraduate students starting their academic year with a range of scholarship opportunities.
Scholarship Opportunities at Trent University 2025/2026, Canada
Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships & Awards is one of the available scholarships. It is a renewable opportunity for international students who demonstrate financial need, good academic performance, leadership potential, and community service.
-Trent International Program Tuition Levy Scholarship: This renewable scholarship, funded by Trent students, is given to students who demonstrate financial need, leadership, strong academic success, and community service.
-IB Student Global Citizen Awards: Given to international students who have earned an IB diploma and who have proven their need for financial assistance, leadership, community involvement, and academic performance.
The Trent-ESL English for University Student Scholarship is available to overseas students participating in the program. It is renewable and is awarded based on financial need, leadership, community service, and academic achievement.
-Trent-United World Colleges (UWC) Scholarships: Available to UWC alums who are financially needful and have demonstrated scholastic achievement, leadership potential, and community service.
-Maple Leaf Leadership Award: This one-time honor recognizes academic achievement, leadership, and financial need in students attending Maple Leaf Education System schools.

Value: Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards: Covers tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).
-Trent International Program Tuition Levy Scholarship: Covers international tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).
-IB Student Global Citizen Awards: Provides up to $34,000 per year for tuition and fees, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).
-Trent-ESL: English for University Student Scholarship: Covers tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year for degree programs, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000). ESL course fees are not covered.
Moore Family International Scholarship: Offers $12,000 per year, renewable up to $48,000 over 4 years.
-Trent-United World Colleges (UWC) Scholarships: Covers tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).
Eligible Countries: All countries
Eligibility: the eligibility criteria include the following:
-You will need to fulfil the conditions of your conditional offer letter and register for courses to receive the scholarship amount.
-You must be an international student paying international fees.
-You will be studying in Canada on a study permit.
-You must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University for the Winter 2025, Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 intake.
Postgraduate certificate and Master/PhD students are not eligible.
-You must meet Trent University’s Admission requirements, including general and degree-specific requirements and the English Language Proficiency Requirements. (Please note that students do not need an admission offer to apply for the scholarships and awards).
-You have a final high school average of 80% or more (Canadian Equivalent).
-You must submit a complete application through your myTrent portal before the “Apply Before Date” for each cohort.
