The SHRA is a public entity under the Department of Human Settlements, tasked with regulating and promoting affordable rental social housing. Their Young Graduate Programme, which includes the Compliance Internship, is designed to provide graduates with hands-on experience. Internship Details

The Compliance Internship, identified by reference number COM/2026/2027, is for the position of Compliance Officer Intern. This role falls under the Compliance, Audit and Risk (CAR) department and reports directly to the Compliance Manager. The internship is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and will last for 24 months. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R11,172.49.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

An added advantage for applicants would be a Certificate in Compliance Management. No prior work experience is required for this internship.
