Organizations across Canada can now apply for up to $20,000 in TELUS Community Board Funding to support youth health and education programs. This grant from the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation helps community groups create programs that use technology to aid young people up to age 29. It targets local efforts to build stronger communities through better access to health services and learning opportunities.

About the TELUS Community Board Funding

The TELUS Friendly Future Foundation is a registered charity that funds projects to improve young lives. Its Community Boards operate across Canada to back programs that fit local needs. These grants focus on youth up to age 29 and aim to remove barriers with tech tools. Groups can use the money for one-year projects that make real changes in health or education.

What the Grant Covers

Approved groups receive up to $20,000 for their programs. In the Barrie and Central Ontario area, the limit is $10,000. The funds support community-based work that directly helps youth. They cover costs tied to program delivery, not general operations.

Key Focus Areas

Projects need to match at least one of these main goals.

Youth Support Programs

These efforts help young people aged up to 29 face social, money, or personal challenges. They build skills and open doors for better futures.

Technology-Driven Solutions

Programs that use tech stand out. Examples include online learning tools, automated systems to run services, or tech setups for sensory needs. Tech makes programs easier to reach more youth.

Education and Skill Development
