Minimum Requirements

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Hold a valid Carpentry, Instrumentation, or Plumbing Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal).
  • Have completed their trade test within the past four years.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Have less than one year of work experience.
  • Applicants with disabilities should attach a confirmation letter from a medical doctor.
  • Preference may be given to women and persons with disabilities for the Plumbing learnership in line with Transnet’s Employment Equity objectives.
