  • Information Technology at National Diploma or BSc level.

Who Can Apply: Minimum Requirements

To apply, you must meet these basics:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Have finished Matric.
  • Plan to study one of the listed fields.
  • Start your first year of study in 2026.
  • Not be in any current or past SETA learnership programme.

Females and people with disabilities get strong encouragement to apply.

Preference for Local Communities

Tronox gives priority to students from these areas:

  • Kwa Dube (under Inkosi Dube).
  • Kwa Nzuza (Inkosi Nzuza).
  • Kwa Mkhwanazi (Inkosi Mkhwanazi).
  • Ogagwini (Inkosi Zulu).
  • Somopho (Inkosi Mthembu).
  • Macambini (Inkosi Mathaba).
  • Madlebe (Inkosi Zungu).

Also from these municipalities: Umhlathuze, Umlalazi, and Mandeni.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants face:

  • Psychometric tests.
  • Background checks.
  • Medical exams.

Only selected candidates hear back. If no response in 4 weeks after 31 March 2026, your application did not succeed.

Required Documents

Submit these with your application:

  • Certified ID copy (less than 3 months old).
  • Certified Matric certificate or latest results.
  • Proof of registration or acceptance at university.
  • One-page CV.
  • Proof of residence from your Traditional Council.

Applications without all items get rejected.
