About the Apprenticeship

Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
You need a Grade 12 certificate or NCV Level 4 to apply. A qualification in Electrical Engineering at N3, N4, N5, or N6 level is required. You must also hold a valid driver’s license.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring helps a lot. Being able to read electrical diagrams and blueprints is useful. Experience with hand tools and power tools is a plus.

Physical Requirements
