Admission Requirements for Foundation/Degree programs
FOUNDATION PROGRAMMES
The Wellspring A-Level program prepares students for admission via the direct entry pathAt Wellspring, we offer two classes of Advanced Level programes:
- IJMB(Interim Joint Matriculation Admission)
- JUPEB
A student who obtains 2 or 3 passes in any of the programmes is admissible into Wellspring degree programThe A-Level qualification obtained from these programmes are also accepted by other Universities in Nigeria
UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES(UTME/DIRECT ENTRY)
This program is available prospective candidates who have obtained any of the following:
JAMB UTME CHANNEL
5 O’level credits at 2 sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB; plus
JAMB UTME score not lower than 120, attained in 2/3 relevant subjects
DIRECT ENTRY
3 O’Level credits in one sitting in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB; plus any of:
JUPEB
IJMB
NATIONAL DIPLOMA(Upper credit)
NCE(Merit)
Relevant professional qualifications at the Professional I/II levels
TOP-UP & PART-TIME DEGREE PROGRAMMES
The Top-up degree programme is aimed at working professionals who must have obtained any of the following:
Higher National Diploma in the relevant field
CIPM, ICAN, ANAN,CIA, CPN/CPE, ACCA,NIM,NIPR,ICSAN,CITN,CIIN,CISN,CIMN,ACIB,etc.
The top-up degree programme is short duration course offered only at the main campus of the University
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA(FULLTIME & PART-TIME PROGRAMMES
Any prospective candidate wishing to pursue a PGD should possess any of the following:
Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower credit in the relevant field
CIPM, ICAN, ANAN,CIA, CPN/CPEII/III, ACCA,NIM,NIPR,ICSAN,CITN,CIIN,CISN,CIMN,ACIB,etc.
First degree with a minimum of of Third class from a recognized institution
The minimum program duration is 2-semesters for regular students and 3-semesters for part-time students
