Who Can Apply?

To join the WTO Young Professionals Programme 2027, you need to meet these requirements:

• An advanced university degree in fields like economics, econometrics, international relations, law, environment studies, or other trade-related topics. You must have this degree before applying.
• Basic understanding of WTO operations.
• Knowledge in at least one of the listed work areas.
• Strong writing skills in English. Skills in French or Spanish help.
• Ability to work alone or in teams in diverse settings.
• Clear interest in international trade and the global trade system.
• Real passion for trade or WTO topics.
• At least two years of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in English. Basic French or Spanish is a plus.
